The trooper needs to be fired and charged with a felony for abuse of power, for assaulting EMS Personnel and for putting a person's life in danger for no reason(the lady in the ambulance). He is an accident waiting to happen. Thank God for video recorders. How much of a lowlife has to be before he is booted out OHP? He is trying to use his tour to Iraq as an excuse for his behavior? Why was his wife in the patrol car when he is responding to a police emergency call? Not much of an emergency as his dash cam shows. Who is in charge of OHP? Someone needs to tell OK Attorney General how to do his job.

Unfortunately, most people can't see that the ambulance did yeild to the state trooper. You can't see any gestures from the ambulance. The state trooper was on a massive power trip and out of control. The paramedic tried to handle the situation like a professional and received obsenities in return. This trooper is an insult to the law enforcement that I work with every day. He should be fired immediately and never be allowed to wear a badge again. The other trooper involved should be severely disciplined also, he should have controlled his partner instead of the actions he took. By a firefighter/EMT that works with professional law enforcement.

It wasn't much of an emergency, in the dashcam video the emt vehicle didn't have its lights or sirens on, they should have at the very least lights on. They also had time to drive back by the officer and make whatever gesture they made. The officer says the emt flipped him the bird, the emt says he shrugged his shoulder at him. Whatever, they should have took the lady to the hospital instead of clowning around.

This country needs colorblind justice NOW, starting with that scaredy cop.

The new law that the Governor signed about protecting EMT's. Does this not include the OHP?

This should be a public cry for help! No lawman of any power should interfere with a medical emergency, ever. Seconds count in a emergency and i hope the family of the victim seek legal advice for this. The officer should be fired period. From a nurse.

Looks like Officer Daniel Martin and Officer Bryan Iker are free to choke anyone they want, as long as that person is black.

So now it's completely legitimate for police officer to pull over, verbally abuse, physically assault, and finally attempt to falsely arrest a civilian EMS worker in the process of transporting a patient to the hospital. There will be no consequences for this man. He will not face the charges you or I would for this kind of crime, and it is a CRIME. He's off the hook, as a "professional courtesy." Stunning. This. Is. A. POLICE STATE! They have no limits, none. Your life is nothing, their power is absolute, your rights have vanished, the officers of the so-called law are an occupying army who regard you as subhuman. Like the chief says in Blade Runner, "you know the score pal, if you're not cop, you're little people." How does it feel, America, to be a nation of little people?

This is typical of the OHP... I feel they abuse their power. As in this case they were in error!!!

We believe the Highway Patrol was in error!!!
