An Amber Alert was canceled Wednesday night after a missing boy and his grandmother were found in Chetopa, Kansas.
Mannford Police had issued the alert, because they say 2-year-old Hayden Potter was taken from his home by his grandmother without permission Wednesday afternoon.
The boy's grandmother, Phyllis Potter, was driving 17 ft. U-Haul truck with an Arizona license plate.
A Kansas police officer heard the Amber Alert, and spotted the vehicle. The boy was safe. The grandmother is now in the Labette, Kansas County Jail. She faces a complaint of kidnapping.
A Mannford detective told 2NEWS that Phyllis Potter has mental issues and was off her medication.
