From Meteorologists Julie Chin and George Flickinger:

(ABOVE: Recorded snowfall totals for 2/8/2010. Of course the snow melted quickly, so little to no accumulation occurred.)

Monday's snow melted as temperatures warmed above freezing before much colder weather arrived overnight. Area reports show that 1-2" of snow was recorded in Tulsa, but it melted quickly-- No Frosty the Snowman!

Our Tuesday morning low temperature was 16° with colder wind chills.

Forecast: We'll see sunshine today. Temperatures will remain cool as high temperatures struggle to reach into the 30s. The north wind will diminish tonight.

Looking ahead, a weak weather system provides low precip chances on Thursday and early Friday. Most precip will remain south of our area.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy and cold.
Wind: NW 15 mph
Afternoon High: 34

Tuesday Night:
Mostly clear and cold.
Wind: N 5mph
Overnight Low: 18.

Wednesday:
Increasing clouds and cool.
Wind: Light N shifting to S by afternoon
Afternoon High: 36

Julie Chin updates the forecast at 11am today on 2News. Chief Meteorologist Dan Threlkeld updates the forecast tonight at 5, 6 and 10pm.
