A small study from England finds people think bottled water is somehow healthier than tap water. However, they can't actually come up with any concrete reasons why.
Some of those surveyed by researchers at the University of Birmingham (UK) and published in BMC Public Health, thought it might be more "pure" or contain more minerals, but those benefits did not seem to be significant.
Perceived health benefits aside, the main reason people in the survey bought bottled water was convenience.
Wherever you get it, water is important to help flush toxins out of the body and keep it hydrated, especially during the heat of summer.
