Oklahoma plans statewide vaccination blitz

Oklahoma health officials plan a statewide “vaccination blitz” Saturday, November 7.
 
County health departments will vaccinate as many Oklahomans against H1N1 flu as time and vaccine supplies allow.
 
27 locations will offer the H1N1 influenza vaccine to people who are in one of five priority groups.

Those priority groups include:
· All children ages 6 months to 18 years
· Pregnant women
· Custodial parents of infants less than 6 months of age
· Front-line health care workers who have direct patient contact with acutely ill persons
· Adults 19 – 64 years of age with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma & other chronic lung disease, chronic heart disease, cancer, and other conditions that suppress the immune system.

Ada: Pontotoc County Health Department 1630 East Beverly 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Ardmore: Carter County Health Department 405 S. Washington 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Beaver: Beaver County Fairgrounds 1107 Douglas 8 a.m. - Noon
Chickasha: Grady County Health Department 2116 Iowa Street 8 a.m. – Noon
Duncan: Stephens County Health Department 1401 Bois D'Arc 8 a.m. – Noon
Durant: Bryan County Health Department 1524 W. Chuckwa 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Elk City: First Baptist Church 1600 W. Country Club Rd 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Enid: Oakwood Mall Oakwood & HWY 412 8 a.m. - Noon
Guymon: Victory Memorial United Methodist Enrichment Center 523 North Roosevelt 8 a.m. - Noon
