Account Executive Business Development

1. Prepare and present sales pitches to owners, managers and agencies, negotiate rates and budgets,
2. Create non-traditional revenue opportunities, develop new business for multiple platforms (such as on-air, mobile, online, digital)
3. Utilize research to position the station as a premiere marketing vehicle and serve as a marketing consultant.
4. Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by the Local Sales Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in broadcast/cable/online sales is a plus.

EQUIPMENT: Working knowledge of Microsoft applications

SKILLS / Must have a proven track record of new business development, strong presentation skills, persuasive written and verbal skills.
ABILITIES:

LICENSE/
CERTIFICATION: Valid driver’s license with no more than four (4) points in the past 36 months, in accordance with station policy, and proof of insurability (must carry liability limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000per accident/$50,000 property).
