OCHELATA, Okla. - Highway patrol troopers say a 46-year-old Ochelata woman was killed when she pulled into oncoming traffic on Highway 75 in Washington County around 5 p.m. Friday.
Sandra K. Hammock died at a Tulsa hospital from injuries in the collision.
Troopers say Hammock was pulling out of a private drive in an attempt to cross the highway when her car was struck by another vehicle driven by a 70-year-old woman from Olathe, Kan.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to an area hospital in fair condition.
Hammock's 21-year-old passenger was transported in stable condition.
Troopers say Hammock failed to yield as she pulled out of the private drive.
