Million dollar bond set for multi-convicted felon Bartlesville driver

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - A Washington County judge issued a million dollar bond Tuesday for a Bartlesville man arrested Friday for allegedly operating a vehicle while "under the influence."

The judge set the bond and ordered Paul Dane Everly, 45, rearrested in court after seeing a history of felony convictions.

Prior to appearing in court Tuesday, Everly had been free after posting a $5,000 bond during the weekend. He was arrested on Friday when police allegedly found him intoxicated and "in actual physical control" of a Ford Explorer near the 3800 block of Frank Phillips Boulevard.

According to the district attorney's office, the felony charge filed against Everly on Tuesday follows three felony convictions of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, one conviction of assault and battery on a police officer and one felony conviction of prisoner placing bodily fluid on a government employee.
